Darlene Jurow, Principal of Jurow Design Associates, uses cookie cutters only when she bakes. When she designs living and working environments, she translates her clients' dreams and aspirations into reality. The results are as distinctive as each clients' vision. From concept to completion, JDA offers viable options and solutions with respect for budget, time and style of living. Ms. Jurow firmly believes that creating a harmonious environment is an essential component of living well.

FIRM PROFILES
With more than 30 years professional design experience, Ms. Jurows' background integrates a rich array of talent, qualifications and experience. While teaching college-level classes on interior design at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), San Francisco, she exposes a new generation of designers to traditional elegance and cutting edge resources. Ms. Jurow was educated at Stephens College, Columbia, Mo., followed by UCLA and New York School of Interior Design. In 2000, she studied Feng Shui at Nanjing University, China.

Ms. Jurow served as President of American Society of Interior Designers, Northern California , member of the ASID National SAC committee and member of the Board of Directors of TAC/deYoung Museum. Her articles and quotes appeared in the Wall Street Journal, San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times, Design For Living magazine and the San Jose Business Journal. JDA was an honored participant in the S.F. Decorator Showcase House 2008 and 2009 and the Millennium Tower Showcase 2009.
