President's Message

Welcome to the New Website of ASID California North.

Welcome to our members and the public who kindly visit our New Website.

We are in the process of completing our new site but have already put it into play. See our planned activities in the calendar, our current SF DESIGN magazine issue on line and the Designer Portfolio section, among others. We are looking at the synergy of all our visitors and activities to play together in the benefit of all. We will keep updating regularly, so keep visiting, surfing and enjoying. And please do let us know how we can serve you better, either as members of ASID or as prospecting clients.

Welcome to our ASID Board of Directors for 2009-2010. Nancy Walker, President Elect; Daniel Morton, Director of Finance; Janice Aherns, Director of Professional Development & Events; Raymond Ramirez, Director of Membership; Claudia Hacker, Director at Large Industry Partner; and Megan delaCruz, Student Rep. All of them very capable and exciting ASID volunteers putting tremendous efforts to deliver better services to our members and the community.

We hope that the US and World economy is improving as some indicators show, and that 2010 will be a much better year for all and that we'll see many new jobs in our field, homeowners and business owners launching on improvements in their homes, their work places and environments, all with the help of our great ASID Designers and Industry Partners.
